During the fourth quarter of 2022, the top Food and Drink applications in Central America showed distinct performance patterns in terms of downloads and active users, as per data from Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at the trends for the leading apps.

DiDi Food - Food Delivery saw its weekly downloads fluctuate throughout the quarter, peaking at nearly 144K in late October. Active users for the app consistently hovered around 1.7M, with a slight dip towards the end of December, closing at approximately 1.5M.

Rappi: Market and Food Online maintained a steady download rate, averaging around 125K to 130K weekly downloads. Active users showed a downward trend, starting at 2.17M in late September and reducing to about 1.93M by the end of December. Revenue remained minimal but saw a slight increase, reaching up to $6 in the last week of December.

mi OXXO experienced a varied download trend, starting strong with over 133K downloads in late September and seeing a dip and subsequent recovery, ending the quarter with around 97K downloads. Active users also fluctuated, starting at 328K and ending the quarter at approximately 280K.

Uber Eats: Food Delivery had relatively stable weekly downloads, ranging between 68K and 82K. Active users saw a gradual decline from 1.67M at the end of September to around 1.46M by the end of December.

McDonald's Offers and Delivery showed a consistent download pattern, with weekly downloads ranging from 52K to 66K. Active users increased slightly over the quarter, starting from 268K and closing the quarter at approximately 289K.
